The Library will host the Opening Reception of “Where You Been? New Art by Brandon Long” on Thursday, May 9 from 6:30-7:30 PM in the Georgia de Araujo Gallery. The exhibit, which runs May 1-29, 2024, features a collection of works in varying styles, including recycled metal assemblage, portraits, and landscapes.
Brandon Long is a multi-disciplinary artist from Lancaster, Kentucky. Although he works in a variety of media – he prefers to utilize repurposed and recycled materials to create layered, meaningful work. Aside from creating his own body of mixed-media work, he also works as a muralist, graphic designer, and an arts educator.
