"A Close-up Lens on Nepal" with Karl Benson
The Friends of the Library continue their 2015 Fall Program Series on Monday, October 12th at 7:00 pm with "A Close-up Lens on Nepal." Karl Benson, former director of the Boyle County Public Library, will give a close-up view of the cultural and scenic landscape of Nepal.
Benson, who visited Nepal a year ago, is well-travelled in the United States, Mexico, Central America, the Middle East, and Europe. On Monday evening he’ll share insights into Nepal’s unique blend of Hindu and Buddhist cultures along with photos of important landmarks, views of the Himalayas, and friends made in this mountainous nation.
This free program is open to the public and will be held in the Community Room at the Boyle County Public Library.
