Teen Events this Week

January 9, 2017

The Boyle County Public Library hosts a variety of events for teens (ages 13-18). Julia Basil, our programming coordinator, offers regular weekly programs for teens including Teen Crafternoon, Teen Challenge (STEM), Teens Write, and Teen Book Club. This week we have two programs for teens:

Teens Write • Tuesday, January 10th at 4:00 pm

This is a group for teens who love to write. Each month participants can bring a past original work to share, or they can participate in the monthly writing prompt. Teens Write meets on the second Tuesday of the month in the Conference Room.

Teen Crafternoon • Friday, January 13th at 4:00 pm

This monthly program features a different artistic craft or activity each month. In January, we’ll learn to make Japanese suminagashi prints. This free event will be held in the Community Room and is open to all teens (ages 13-18). Crafternoon is usually held on the first Friday of the month, however due to the inclement weather last week, we opted to rescheduled the program to this week.
