Book Discussion Groups at the Library
The Boyle County Public Library offers a variety of book discussion groups each month, including the Third Thursday Morning and Evening Book Discussion Groups which meet at the Library on the third Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. respectively. These groups are designed for anyone interested in discussing a wide variety of books in a group setting.
Both groups will meet on Thursday, March 16th. The Morning Discussion group, which is led by Diana Draper, will discuss Unholy Fire: A Novel of the Civil War by Robert J. Mrazek. The Evening Discussion group is led by Merry Cooper and will discuss The Red Garden by Alice Hoffman. Those interested in participating in either group may pick up a copy of the book at the Circulation Desk in the Library.
Additional book clubs include the Cookbook Club (1st Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m.), 2M2 Book Discussion: Reading Around the World (2nd Monday of the month at 2:00 p.m.), and Teen Book Club (4th Friday of the month at 4:00 p.m.) The Children's Library also offers book clubs for tweens, kids, and homeschoolers. More information about these clubs are available online, at the Circulation Desk, and in the Children's Library.
