MLK: 50 Years Later

On Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 3:30 p.m., J.H. Atkins will present "MLK: 50 Years Later." Atkins will talk about the memory and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. fifty years after the assassination of the revered civil rights leader. Atkins will provide an introduction to King's 39 years, including his successes and failures. A video highlighting King's last days in Memphis will be shown, followed by a discussion on his influence and the impact it has on us today.

This program will be held in the Community Room.
