Key Lime Fudge

sweet and tangy citrus in fudge form.

Ingredients & Measurements:
  • 3 cups white baking chocolate pieces
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp finely shredded lime peel
  • 2 tbsp bottled or fresh key lime juice
  • 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts if desired
Instructions:
  1. line an 8x8 baking pan with foil, extending foil over edges of pan.
  2. butter the foil.
  3. in a large saucepan stir baking pieces and condensed milk over low heat just until pieces are melted and mixture is smooth
  4. remove from heat and stir in lime peel, lime juice and nuts if desired
  5. spread mixture evenly in prepared pan
  6. optionally sprinkle chopped nuts on top
  7. chill until firm
  8. lift foil to remove from pan and cut into desired pieces.
  9. Store refrigerated in airtight container
