Upside-down German Chocolate Cake

Ingredients & Measurements:
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 box german chocolate cake mix (powder only)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 sticks soft butter
  • 8 oz
  • 1 lbs powdered sugar
  • Chocolate syrup (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Grease 9x13 inch pan
  3. Sprinkle chopped pecans and coconut on bottom of the pan
  4. Mix cake, eggs, vegetable oil and milk on medium speed for two minutes.
  5. Pour batter over coconuts and pecans
  6. Melt butter and cream cheese and add powdered sugar, reserving a small amount of the powder.
  7. Pour cream cheese and sugar mixture over batter
  8. Bake 65 minutes
  9. Remove from pan and cool.
  10. Sift powdered sugar over cake.
  11. Use chocolate syrup to decorate finished cake.
