Join us at the library on the first Monday of each month as we host an activity considered for adults with physical, developmental, and/or intellectual disabilities. The goal is to explore, create and have fun in an inclusive environment. This program can be for those with or without disabilities. We invite those who would be interested in working side by side with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. We hope you can come and enjoy community with us.
April: To celebrate earth day we will be making our wildflower seed paper bombs!
What are seed bombs? Seed paper bombs are small, biodegradable balls made from recycled paper pulp mixed with flower seeds, designed to be tossed into neglected urban areas or gardens to grow wildflowers. Acting as a self-contained, nutrient-rich, and moisture-retaining seed vessel, they decompose and grow when watered.
