Journey across American history through reading historical fiction in this special program series! Each month we will recommend books to read in preparation for our book club meeting where we will discuss the books, the differences in what we all read, and the historical context of the period. Caregivers are encouraged to read alongside their kids and teens, either reading the same book or an adult book set in the same time period.

- I Survived the American Revolution, 1776 by Lauren Tarshis
- Rebellion, 1776 by Laurie Halse Anderson
