Join us on March 28 from 11 AM-1 PM for our first Author Hop featuring well-known local authors and new ones, you will soon know! Come to the library to hear readings of the author’s favorite or current works. Afterwards, you can head downtown where the authors will be set up in different locations to meet, greet, and sell their books. The public reading will be held in the Reading Room from 11 AM until 1 PM. Authors will report to their downtown locations at 1:30 PM. This year we will be featuring authors Heather Henson, Robby Henson, Maurice Manning, Paul Stansbury, Virginia Smith, Shanna Heath, Sandra Scott, and Zayda Flanery. Kids and families can come see the Danville Fire Department at the library and learn about fire safety, fire service, and how to be weather aware! You’ll also be able to see one of their awesome fire engines! (Ages 6-10) Click here for more info.

Join us during the weeks of spring break as we play a live-action version of the classic board game The Game of Life! Spin the wheel and choose your path!
