In the Spotlight

The Seed Library is now open!
Using the BCPL Seed Library is easy. Located on the main level of the Library, simply pick your seeds and checkout at the Circulation desk. No library card required! You can check out up to 5 packets per month. Have extra seeds? Make a donation and share them with the community! Offered in partnership with The Garden Club of Danville.

Shinji Matsuda, martial arts professional, visits the library to offer a free, introductory class on women’s self-defense in April & May. Registration is required to participate. You can sign up for either date. REGISTER HERE.

"Something New, Something Blue" Art Exhibit
Gathering Artists is a group of regional visual artists and fine craftspeople who have been meeting together on the second Saturday of each month since 1995. The GA spring exhibit "Something New Something Blue," is on display at BCPL through April 12. Each piece of art reflects the exhibit title, being both recent and primarily blue, no matter what the subject matter. Much of the art will be for sale. Visit the exhibit any time during regular library hours.
If you are a visual artist of any kind, you are welcome to attend a Gathering Artists meeting on the second Saturday of any month at 10:15 AM at the Art Center of the Bluegrass.
