Butter Crunch Clusters

Ingredients & Measurements:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp corn syrup
  • 2 cups cheerios or similar cereal
  • 1 cup salted cocktail peanuts or spanish peanuts
Instructions:
  1. Heat butter in 3 quart saucepan over low heat until melted.
  2. Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup.
  3. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil and stir 1 minute; remove from heat.
  5. Stir in cereal and peanuts until well coated.
  6. Drop mixtures by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper
  7. Cool completely.
