Caramel Applesauce Pie

Ingredients & Measurements:
  • 24 caramels
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 graham cracker crust (premade)
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 8 oz soft cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup chunky applesauce
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/12 cup whipped topping, divided
  • caramel flavored syrup
Instructions:
  1. In a microwave safe bowl, heat caramels with milk for 1-2 min or until melted
  2. pour into pie crust and sprinkle pecans on top
  3. let cool about 30 min
  4. with mixer beat next 3 ingredients until smooth.
  5. reduce speed and add applesauce, vanilla and cinnamon
  6. beat about 1 minute
  7. fold in 1 3/4 cup whipped topping
  8. spread over caramel mixture and chill about 1 hour
  9. top with the rest of the whipped topping and drizzle with caramel sauce
