Sausage Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients & Measurements:
  • 1 lbs sausage
  • 6 slices white bread
  • softened butter, enough to spread on bread slices
  • 6 oz shredded cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
Instructions:
  1. cook sausage over medium heat until done, stirring and crumbling well
  2. drain sausage on paper towels
  3. spread each slice of bread with butter, cut into cubes
  4. place bread cubes into 13x9x2 in pan
  5. sprinkle pan with sausageand top with cheese
  6. combine remaining ingredients and beat well
  7. pour egg mix into baking pan.
  8. chill for 8 hours
  9. bake at 350 for 40 to 50 min
