Gathering Artists Spring Exhibit Reception

Gathering Artists logo"Something New, Something Blue" Art Exhibit

Gathering Artists is a group of regional visual artists and fine craftspeople who have been meeting together on the second Saturday of each month since 1995. This group will have an art exhibit, "Something New Something Blue," at the Boyle County Public Library from March 3 through April 12.

Each piece of art needs to reflect the exhibit title, being both recent and primarily blue, no matter what the subject matter. The art displayed will include paintings, drawings, jewelry, quilts, felted pieces, handwoven items, and more—all in shades of blue (with white and black and some with dashes of other colors). Much of the art will be for sale. Please join us for an artists reception at the Library from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023 (rescheduled from an earlier date), or visit the exhibit any time during regular library hours.

If you are a visual artist of any kind, you are welcome to attend a Gathering Artists meeting on the second Saturday of any month at 10:15 a.m. at the Art Center of the Bluegrass, or contact Lynda Ross ( lynda73ross@gmail.com , 859-319-0264) for more information.
