Join BCPL for a meditative Chair yoga experience. We are happy to welcome back Francine Southerland, of Wilderness Yoga Shala, for a session of adaptive chair yoga.
This chair yoga class at the Boyle County Public Library is designed for busy minds, tired bodies, and anyone who wants to feel more at ease in their daily life. Whether you're dealing with stiffness, stress, or simply need a moment to reconnect with yourself, you'll find space to move, breathe, and reset.
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that uses a chair for support, making poses more accessible while improving flexibility, strength, and relaxation. It’s perfect for anyone seeking a mindful movement practice without getting on the floor.
Expect guided breathwork, mindful movement, and modified yoga poses to release tension and build strength—all while staying supported. No experience is needed, just an open heart and a willingness to receive.
Two classes are available: Wednesday, April 16th from 12pm-1pm & Thursday, April 16th 6pm-7pm
Registration is required and spots will be limited to 15 persons.
