In the Spotlight

On March 17 at 6 PM, families can celebrate Mario Day by watching The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) with themed snacks, crafts, and activities. Make a piranha plant puppet and character paper crafts. Build your own rainbow road with magnetic tiles. Celebrate our favorite plumber, his taller brother, and their adventures! Homeschool Club meets once a month to provide homeschooled kids, tweens, and teens with an opportunity to learn, create, explore, discover, and socialize. On March 20 at 1:30 PM, we will use our critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to become BCPL detectives! We will work together in small groups to solve interactive “whodunnit” mysteries. This year’s Frank X Walker Creative Arts Festival will take place March 2-7 at Danville High School. Students in grades K-12 in Danville, Boyle County, and the surrounding counties participated in the categories of poetry, visual art, playwriting, songwriting, and illustrated poetry. This year’s theme is “Origin Story.” Winning visual art and illustrated poetry entries will be on exhibit at BCPL March 7-27. Click here for more info.
