In the Spotlight

The Boyle County Public Library welcomes all children, parents, and Christmas elves to visit Santa in downtown Danville. On Saturday, Dec. 6, Santa will be visiting the library in hopes of meeting all the good children as well as posing for a photo. Bring your own camera so you can photograph your visit! After you visit Santa, we invite you to stick around for free Christmas-themed activities! Click here for more info.

Join us at the Story Center at Grayson’s Tavern to make historic holiday decorations to take home. Holiday decorating in decades past involved bringing nature into the home, using materials like fruits, nuts, spices, and evergreen clippings to enliven the space. Stop by to make your own pomanders and garlands. Click here for more info.

The gallery exhibit for December is "Hats, Flats and Instruments of String Music," by local artist Keith Ross.
In this exhibit there are three motifs: hats, flats and instruments of string music. The exhibition will run from December 3-27. A gallery opening reception will be held on Thursday, Dec. 4 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Light refreshments will be provided.
