Research and Preservation Resources for Historic Buildings

Join our local history librarian, Jon Nicholson, for a presentation on the process of researching historic property, identifying historic features of buildings & landscapes, and resources available for preservation both on the State and National Level. Presentation will include examples of historic deeds, probate records, insurance maps, newspapers, preservation briefs from the National Parks Service, the National Register of Historic Places, and the Historic American Buildings Survey.
