Connect the in-game creative fun of Minecraft with hands-on STEM activities!
Choose from several experiment stations:

. All experiments will be inspired by the game and characters of Minecraft.
In addition to programs, The children's area in the library will be turned into our own Minecraft Unplugged play zone. There will be building blocks, pixel art, pretend play Minecraft “crafting table,” element scavenger hunt, and much more.
Minecraft is a video game, primarily recognized by its cube art style, that encourages building, creativity, and problem solving. Popular for over a decade, this 3D sandbox game allows players freedom to use their imaginations in this cube world. The game has two main modes; survival mode, where players must acquire resources to survive, and a creative mode where players have unlimited resources and the ability to fly.
During Spring Break there will be a series of Minecraft programs for families, kids, and YA age groups.
Kids Minecraft Lab - March 31 from 3:00-4:30 PM (ages 6-10)
YA Creative Club: Minecrafternoon 3:30-5:00 (ages 11-17)
Library Game Night - April 1 from 6:00-8:00 (all ages)
YA SUPER Gaming Guild: Minecraft Mayhem (ages 11-17)
The Minecraft Unplugged play zone will be available any time the library is open the week of spring break, so you and your family can join the fun all week. MWF 9:30-5:30; T&Th 9:30-8; Sat 10-5
