Recently Jim Moore, treasurer of Danville Friends of the Library, received the "Outstanding Friend of the Year" award from the state Friends of Kentucky Libraries organization.
Jim's endeavors during the pandemic raised thousands of dollars for the 2022 Summer Reading Program. His tireless efforts, creative solutions, and longtime support of BCPL have had a major impact on the library and its patrons.
A reception to honor him will be held at the Library on November 30 beginning at 4 PM. All are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be provided.
